Abstract submission
General requirements
Abstracts for talks and posters should be submitted electronically. The NEW deadline for submission is January 15th, 2024, using the link available on the registration page.
Please note that the working language for the event is English, and therefore all abstracts must be written in English.
Authors are expected to present their original papers and posters.
Authors are required to present their talks and posters during the symposium. When submitting the abstract, the abstract submitter must indicate his/her preference for presentation type, either as a talk (oral presentation) or a poster.
Once an abstract has been submitted, no changes to the author's information, affiliation, title, or content of the abstract are allowed, except for typographical errors and details pointed out by the reviewers.
Abstract formatting guidelines
The abstract must be concise and limited to a maximum of 350 words (the title, authors, affiliations, references, and acknowledgments are not included). Within the abstract, it is essential to include the motivation, problem statement, approach, results, and conclusions.
Please note that tables and figures are not permitted in the abstract.
Authors are required to provide a list of up to 5 keywords (in total, should not exceed 80 characters, excluding spaces). It is crucial to ensure that these specific phrases and words are also present within the abstract itself.
Submission confirmation and acceptance
Upon submission of the abstract, a confirmation email will be sent to the abstract submitter. To ensure receipt of the confirmation, please ensure that emails from vispep2024@gmail.com are not marked as spam by your email provider.
All submitted abstracts will undergo a review process by two independent reviewers. Notifications regarding acceptance will be sent to the corresponding email address by January 31th, 2024.
