Physicist with a specialization in optics, closely bound with the studies in ophthalmic optics and optometry at the Faculty of Physics since 2009. Main areas of interest: physical optics, biophotonics, optics of vision, visual environment. Author of dozens of popular science articles in the broad field of vision optics, published in professional journals. Long-time member and, since 2023, chairman of the Environmental Commission of Ocular Optics and Optometry. Also a populariser of climate science and Chairman of the Council of the Climate Education Foundation.

Lecturer on the European Studies in Ocular Optics and Optometry course. Main research area is issues of contact lens surface characterization using confocal microscopy and AFM techniques. He is the main author of the concept and substantive part of the proposal for the NCBiR project entitled: "Development of a device for the screening diagnosis of disorders within the visual system and an application for remote therapy in disorders of binocular vision". He combines his teaching activities with clinical practice. On a day-to-day basis, he works at the ophthalmology clinic 'Świat oka' ('Eye's world'), where he specializes in qualifying for refractive surgery procedures.

Founding father of the studies in ocular optics and optometry at the Faculty of Physics, UW (launched in 2009). Specialist in Fourier optics and optics of vision. He has published more than 50 original scientific papers in the field of physical optics and optometry, and directed numerous research and teaching projects. He was a multiple Fellow of the Spanish Government at the Physics Departments of the University of Valencia and the Complutense University of Madrid and was a Visiting Professor at the Department of Optics and Optometry of the Complutense University from 1992 to 1993. He is a member of the Optical Society of America, the Sociedad Española de Óptica, and The European Academy of Optometry and Optics.

Weronika is a highly respected practicing optometrist with over 20 years of experience. She is based in Warsaw and specializes in difficult clinical cases of inter alia correction of refractive error and binocular vision disorders, control of myopia progression, and application of specialized contact lenses. She collaborates with senior ophthalmologists to provide patients with comprehensive care.

Master's degree in biophysics with a specialisation in optometry. Balancing his scientific knowledge with practical application, he has been a manager in well-known eye care companies for many years. In addition, he has supervised master's theses and organised practical workshops for optometry students.
